RDM (Rodgers Design Manufacture) are Designers and makers of bespoke furniture whose philosophy is based on quality of service, efficiency, reliability, elegance of function and the belief in the lasting value of craftsmanship.

We seek to build up lasting relationships with our clients in order to provide solutions to their unique needs, offering a complete design, creation, installation and after care service.

We provide for private and corporate clients and we are also experienced working in conjunction with interior designers, architects and contractors.

RDM have developed an intimate working relationship with London based Rogeroger, who share our design ethos and beliefs, often working alongside them on projects.

Experienced designers and craftsmen of bespoke furniture

Matthew Rodgers began his formal training at Rycotewood College in Thame, receiving a bursary from The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers to study fine craftsmanship and design.

He advanced his studies with a 1st Class honours degree in furniture design at the University of Northumbria, completing an industry work placement at the arts and crafts famous Gordon Russell Furniture plc.

Position at Pearl Dot Ltd in London, specializing in the making of high class one off pieces. Advancing to Production manager and the development of the batch production section of the company. Working with furniture design icons such as Matthew Hilton.

In 1999, Matthew founded RDM in a small workshop in north London. The company is now based in Leicestershire and has a growing reputation not only for contemporary furniture but for sensitive heritage projects in period properties.
